Happy 5th Anniversary!

last thursday night marcelo asked me if i would make a video for the following sunday morning. this past sunday, the church celebrated its 5th anniversary. it was pretty cool, there was lots of music and special presentations. i made a video using a lot of the pictures that sandra gave me from the last five years. i wish they had given me a little more time to work on it ...but that's how they roll here, i guess. haha. anyway, here is the video. my favorite part of it is seeing all the different baptisms they have had. you will notice that they have about three options when it comes to a baptistry. they go to the water park, they go to the river, or they set up a kiddie pool in the street. hopefully there will be more opportunities for video projects like this, and hopefully with more advance-notice (it's ok to dream, right?). enjoy...

Happy Anniversary! Sweet! I saw several familiar faces go by in the video. Remind me which one is Marcelo ... I'm guessing the young man sporting a Van Dyke mustache/beard in many of the pics.

Later, Daughter ...

My butt made it into the movie.

You did the skit with them already. That's awesome. :)

Great Job.

Amy,
Based on the amount of time you had (no one ever gives creative people time), that was an awesome video. You have a real talent for it and really know how to edit video well. You really understand timing, and that is the difference between a good video editor and a great one. I could get technical, but I don't want to bore anyone, but great job on that video!

awesome job on the video! i even recognized a few pictures we'd taken with people from DFCC through the years. :)
i loved all the other pictures, though, as they reminded me that the lives of gabriel, ismael, jose, marcelo, karen, gabriela, john, alicia (and everyone else!) go on even when i'm not there. it's dumb, i guess, but it's good to know that they have full lives all year...
